Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W projects and builds
Compact Linux board with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, 512 MB RAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and camera connectivity.

Why it belongs on the bench
Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W is a 65×30 mm Linux computer with a quad-core Cortex-A53, 512 MB RAM, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mini HDMI, micro-USB OTG, camera connector and an unpopulated 40-pin GPIO footprint. Its small size fits catalogue projects such as compact Pi-hole servers, motion cameras, BirdNET-Pi and lightweight remote-control appliances. The 512 MB memory ceiling makes heavier desktop or multi-service workloads a poor match compared with Pi 5. Buyers should also plan for a microSD card, micro-USB power, adapters and any header soldering required by the intended build.
