Raspberry Pi 5 is a general-purpose Linux single-board computer with a quad-core Cortex-A76 processor, RP1 I/O controller, dual 4K display output, USB 3, GPIO, two camera/display connectors and a PCIe interface. Its performance and expansion suit the catalogue’s Home Assistant, OctoPrint, Pi-hole, MagicMirror, motion-camera and SDR-backed ADS-B services. It is sold in multiple memory capacities, and a complete system needs storage, power and usually cooling that are not part of the bare board. PCIe storage also requires a suitable M.2 adapter rather than accepting an SSD directly in the exposed connector.
