Pimoroni Badger 2040 W is a programmable wireless e-paper badge built around a Raspberry Pi Pico W, with a 2.9-inch monochrome display, five front buttons, RTC, battery connector and Qw/ST expansion. Its low-power screen and MicroPython support fit the catalogue’s badge, calendar, weather and information-display examples, including data fetched over Wi-Fi. The board alone is not necessarily a wearable kit: a battery pack, lanyard and sensor breakouts may be separate purchases. E-paper retains its last image without power but refreshes differently from an LCD, so projects needing fluid animation should choose another display technology.
