Weather Display projects

Weather displays turn remote forecast data into a dedicated ambient interface. Adafruit’s PyPortal weather station uses the PyPortal touchscreen, Wi-Fi connection, CircuitPython code, graphics assets, and online data to show current conditions without dedicating a phone or general-purpose computer. This differs from an attached sensor station: the project primarily retrieves and renders a service’s observations or forecast, so connectivity, credentials, location configuration, and API availability are part of the build. Install the CircuitPython version and library bundle expected by the guide, keep service keys out of screenshots and public repositories, and expect endpoint formats or quotas to change.
