UNO R4 WiFi projects and builds
UNO-form-factor board pairing a 32-bit Renesas MCU with ESP32-S3 connectivity, a 12×8 LED matrix and Qwiic connector.

Why it belongs on the bench
Arduino UNO R4 WiFi keeps the familiar UNO footprint and 5 V I/O while moving sketches to a 32-bit Renesas RA4M1 and using an ESP32-S3 module for USB and wireless connectivity. A 12×8 LED matrix, Qwiic connector and CAN interface make it suitable for the catalogue’s matrix animations and deeper USB-bridge firmware work. Existing UNO shields still need electrical and software review: the new processor is not binary-compatible with AVR-era code, and 5 V logic can conflict with 3.3 V peripherals. Reflashing the ESP32-S3 bridge is an advanced recovery or development task, not a normal sketch upload.
